How would you describe your photography style?

Our work blends editorial intention with documentary storytelling. We create space for photographs that feel beautiful and elevated while preserving the honest, unscripted moments that make your wedding yours.

Where are you based?

The Combs Creative is based in Boston and serves couples throughout New England, the Northeast, and destinations worldwide.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. We photograph weddings and elopements throughout New England, across the United States, and internationally. Destination proposals are tailored to the location, event schedule, and coverage you need.

Can we book photography and filmmaking together?

Yes. Photography and filmmaking can be booked together as a coordinated experience or separately, depending on your celebration and the team available.

Are Jess and Corey always the ones photographing and filming?

Coverage depends on your collection, wedding date, and the creative team specified in your proposal. We will clarify who is responsible for your photography and filmmaking before you book.

How did Jess and Corey meet?

We met in 2016 after Jess swiped left on Corey, immediately reconsidered, and paid for Tinder Plus to find his profile again. A few years later, we were married and building a creative business together.

How long has Jess been photographing?

Jess first started photographing in 2006, beginning with senior portraits before finding her way into wedding photography and documenting meaningful celebrations.

When did you begin offering filmmaking?

We expanded our work to include wedding filmmaking in 2018, after getting married and discovering how naturally photography and motion could work together.

Do you offer film photography?

Yes. Film photography can be incorporated into your wedding or engagement session, including 35mm and medium-format options when available.

What is Super 8?

Super 8 is an analog motion-picture format known for its nostalgic texture, movement, and beautifully imperfect character. It can be added to select celebrations as a complement to digital photography or filmmaking.

Does Super 8 record our vows?

Traditional Super 8 imagery and live wedding-day audio are separate considerations. If recorded vows or speeches matter to you, we can discuss digital audio coverage and how those moments may be incorporated into your collection.

Do you help with the wedding timeline?

Yes. We help you think through coverage, lighting, portraits, meaningful moments, and the overall flow of your day so everything feels intentional without becoming overly scheduled.

What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

You do not need to know how to pose. We offer gentle direction when it helps, encourage movement and connection, and give you room to settle into the experience naturally.

Do you photograph engagement sessions?

Yes. Engagement sessions are designed around your relationship, whether that means wandering through Boston, visiting a place that matters to you, or planning something more adventurous.

Can we bring our dog to an engagement session?

Absolutely, when the location permits. We recommend coordinating the timing and having someone available to help with your dog during portions of the session that do not include them.

Do you photograph elopements and intimate weddings?

Yes. We photograph intimate celebrations, city ceremonies, destination elopements, and small weddings that prioritize meaningful experiences over expectations.

When will we receive our photographs?

When will we receive our wedding film?

Wedding films generally fall within a four-to-sixteen-week delivery window, depending on your collection, event complexity, and any additional film processing. Your signed agreement establishes the applicable delivery terms.

Do you provide wedding-day sneak peeks?

Preview availability and timing depend on your agreement and event schedule. When previews are included, they are generally shared within 24 to 72 hours.

Do you provide RAW or unedited images?

No. Your final gallery includes images selected and edited to reflect our creative standards and the complete story of your celebration.

Can we request specific photographs?

Yes. We welcome information about meaningful people, personal details, family dynamics, and moments you do not want overlooked. We also recommend leaving room for the day to unfold naturally.

What happens if it rains?

Weather is part of the story, and we plan accordingly. We will help identify backup locations, adjust portrait timing when possible, and make thoughtful decisions based on your venue and conditions.

Can our wedding remain private?

Yes. We welcome private context before the wedding so we can approach family photographs, blended relationships, and meaningful priorities with clarity and care.

Yes. During the inquiry process, we can share representative full galleries or films when appropriate so you can see how we document an entire celebration.

How are galleries and films delivered?

Final photographs and films are delivered through private online platforms where you can view, download, and share the materials included in your agreement.
